1) I made a mistake in my last posting. It should have read,
instead of import:
merge "filename.mw2 "pages
merge "filename.mw2 "procedures
2) I have experimented with replacing all unneeded shapes with empty
shapes, and I was surprised to find that this actually makes the
file about 10K *larger* not smaller. So it is best to leave the PC
default shapes alone if you don't need them. (As I've noted, the
same is not true for Mac shapes.) I would suggest that if you only
have a Mac, no PC, then it might make sense to replace unneeded
shapes with a small empty shape (copy and paste one of the default
blank shapes). But on a PC, leave the default shapes alone.
3) I am very disappointed to see that our new MWForum archives do
not seem to provide access to attachments. The attachment I sent to
the list appeared there as gobbledy-gook. So if we want all members
of this list (including digest members) to be able to view our
attachments, we'll need to post them on the web in another manner.
I am going to experiment with setting up a special archive
attachments page at mathcats.com for this purpose. The page would
be known just by our group; I'll get back to you about that.
