Right at the top of my list (no pun intended -- see below) would be tighter
integration/consistency between what you can do with lists and what you can
do with text boxes. I don't have examples right off the top of my head but
I know this plagued my students and me when we had to convert things back
and forth just to do stuff in one domain or the other.
For what it's worth, philosophically,even though lists are truer to
Microworlds' history/heritage as Logo/Lisp, it seems to me that text boxes,
being concrete and visible and "directly manipulable" are more the wave of
the future and more in the Microworlds spirit, and more cognitively
accessible for young people.
And, to be sure, you can always put a list (and a list of lists) inside a
text box.
