Welcome to the MW Forum list, Clara (and other recent subscribers). We're here to help. Yes, MicroWorlds can be a bit overwhelming at first, but as you've already seen, it can be very stimulating and rewarding.

A good starting place for online help with MW Pro is:

MicroWorlds in Action (MIA)
http://mia.openworldlearning.org

I admit I'm biased, as I am involved with creating most of the curriculum materials for this site (developed by OpenWorld Learning, a Colorado nonprofit organization).

We've added some recent materials and hope to add a lot more soon. Recent additions include:

* "educational context" materials on MW, Logo, and constructivism, accessible through the Welcome, Resources, or Site Map pages

* a complete and printable listing of all MW primitives for easy reference, along with hyperlinks to related projects on the site - accessible through the Resources page

* "How Do I?" - the beginnings of a FAQ section. Eventually there will be oodles of questions and answers. We are happy to address your questions sooner rather than later, so please ask! (Clara, I'll try to tackle your questions there very soon.)

And the core of the site is a "file drawer" of project folders which help to teach MW programming skills in a user-friendly way, including online demo projects and three types of extension questions. We hope to add more folders soon.

We always welcome your feedback on MIA so we can make it as useful as possible to the community of MicroWorlds users.

By the way, we all learn from seeing creative projects of others. Perhaps you can send one or more of your best student projects as attachments to this list (please convert to PC if they are in Mac format). Are any of them posted online?
