I have used MW Pro for many years with children as young as 6. They 
have no trouble with the interface. One of the things I like about Pro 
is that you can see your program at the same time as you see the 
animation. It is easy to go back and forth and make changes. The size 
of the project can be changed if you want to have a larger window for 
working. This has to be done when you first open your project. It is 
easy to use the icons at the top to see more of the project window or 
more of the programming window, so you can minimize the programming 
window if you are working on a computer with lower resolution.

I love MW Pro and am just looking at MW Ex (unfortunately still running 
on my computer under Virtual PC which slows it down a lot). I am 
anxious to get my hands on the Mac version which will be out soon. I 
strongly suggest you take another look at Pro, even if you don't want 
to look at Ex.
