Graham... I'm working in Boulder, Colorado. I was listening in to your
exchange with Tony. I'm excited to think about programming the RCX via
MicroWorlds! I'll track it down at LCSI. I appreciate this listserv a lot.
Tons of great ideas... and then, the serendipity of finding out about
something like ExRobotic!

Hi Tony, Just got your message - it's great your still working with the
turtle! I'm right at this moment working on a project for a staff PD in
Mworlds. I'm showing others how to use commands like touching? And
if colorunder= when colorunder= and it's getting tricky !! I STILL
think it's the best thing since sliced bread! Have you checked out the
lcsi website ( microworlds.com ) for info on the newest version
Mworlds ExRobotic ? I hope to have a copy in three weeks because I
want to become familiar with it since we'll be able to program the Lego
Mindstorms Robolab RCX brick via this new version.! Should be
fantastic. Do send me a couple of projects. I like to see how others are
going. Cheers Graham

Hello Graham,
How are you? I noticed you writing to the forum.
I see you are still right into MicroWorlds.
I have been teaching it here too.
I taught it along similarly to how you suggested. I tried a different
approach to a few different classes though. I felt it was best to teach
shapes and draw a face etc making children familiar with setpos and seth
and then start teaching the animation side of things. Let me know how
you are going. I will send you a few projects soon. But they are still
quite basic. Regards, Tony
