<P>Hi Karen,</P>
<P>not sure if it will help, but some of my curriculum resources relating to logo can be found at <A href="http://www.csmdigital.co.uk">www.csmdigital.co.uk</A></P>
<P>They really serve as 'ideas' rather than full lessons. If you like anything, please feel free to use it,</P>
<P>Regards</P>

<DIV></DIV>I have been puttering with MicroWorlds for a few years and am pleased to have run across your forum today as I look for Logo resources.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>My current math class is a group of 6th graders doing 7th grade curriculum. When the school increased our math block time, I added in Logo programming as an enrichment project. We've been working through the geometry vocabulary from the MicroWorlds help website with some small challenge projects as application. It is great fun seeing the problem solving and idea sharing going on--the kids radiate happiness as they work.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>Where I want to go with them is the sort of game challenges I see posted in your discussion, such as the pick up stick style problem posed by the grandfather in one message. I've been stuck finding curriculum resources to help me get there. I need some help getting from the basic level of programming I know to the more advanced, math embedded projects my kids are itching to try.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>Is there any kind of curriculum guide for such projects published (in print or online) for MicroWorlds? I found a middle school book for Terrapin Logo but the commands are different enough that adapting is a chore.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>Any suggestions the forum can offer are appreciated. And, if such a guide doesn't exist some of your messages read like you could write one. Thanks!
