Hi Zehava,
To all: I apologize for perpetuating the "no subject" subject.
I notice it's visually better to make each of the horses "in front" of =
the red finish line "t4 turtle "horses2.mw2.
Besides the previously noted occasional error of declaring the wrong =
winner, I see there is no provision for declaring a "tie race." If the =
random value in START_RUN is 15, there will be a tie between any 2 =
horses about 7% of the time, and more frequent than that with 3 horses =
running (okay mathcats, how often?)
However often it is, it seems to me it's too often to not make a fix for =
the problem. Like declaring the correct winner, comparing the values of =
:steps should be able to discern when a tie occurs. The "text1 text and =
the announcement text then should change to express this.
I think Daniel's theory of why the clickoff method doesn't run WINNER is =
correct. The way around it is to remove the turtle instructions, and =
issue the actions from within a procedure.
