I am back to working with MW PRO and MW2 for a bit with the eighth grade.
I found a paper that challenged them to draw an hour glass with just five instructions using setpos
So it is
to hourglass
pd
setpos [-45 60]
setpos [45 60]
setpos [-45 -60]
setpos[[45 -60]
setpos [0 0]
end
Now the challenge is to draw a hourglass with variable
hourglass 40 80
I cannot find a way to do this with the five directions. I assume they want me to use variables in the setpos but I have not found a way to do so. This challenge was out of a book for Logo not just MW so not sure if it will work with MW.
Would appreciate any help. I can't challenge my eithgh grade to do this when I can't figure it out. They have not worked on logo for a year and I am sad at how much they have forgotten. Yet they want to learn more.
Thanks,
Jean Stringer
