When I teach microworld, I try to combine what=20
children are doing in their classes such as
1. animating a poem
2. making an animation and then make a poem based on the animation
3. Reading a book and make an animation scene from the animation
4. Since I field is math, I have my students making a math mystery.

I have found the children with learning problems=20
actually shine with this procedure. I make it=20
simple and each group is treated as an individual=20
because I ask them what they want and work it our=20
with them. It is a great way for them to=20
communicate because they either write the words=20
out or speak on a mic. Also they are using their=20
math skill to make math problems. The children=20
learn about making images which can get smaller=20
or bigger. I make it as simple as possible.

My student are in grades 4-5. I meet each class=20
with them about once a week. If you want more=20
ideas please just contact me.
Hope this helps you
Susan Weiss
