Hi Zehava,
LCSI's original IBM LOGO (1983) had the primitive define name list, =
which permitted defining new procedures from within a procedure. This =
was a stunningly powerful primitive because it permitted creating =
programs whose procedures could change as conditions changed, also known =
as Evolution.
Unfortunately, MicroWorlds has jettisoned that primitve. (Let's =
encourage LCSI to restore it.) I can find no way in MicroWorlds to =
change the contents of the Procedures Tab from within procedures, which =
I think is what you are asking for.
One possibility for you would be to have a Project that already has the =
procedures written. Then the student may simply edit it in the =
Procedures Tab, changing the argument values of commands like seth and =
setsh, etc. I think that's as close as you're going to get to what =
you're asking for.
