Hi there helpful people! My students are keen to use a few
different videos in some projects they're setting-up and we're having
some problems. Here's the background : Recently my students spent
a few days at a re-created gold-mining settlement . Back here at school,
they're using Mworlds Pro to make an e-book as a rec ord of their
experiences. While away we took some great videos. The kids are keen to
incorporate them into their projects. Some of the kids have
drawn/imported graphics of TV sets. They've put these TV set pics on a
page and they want to 'bring up' the videos 'in' the screens of their TV
sets - as though a TV show is playing their videos. What they kids want
to do is show and hide the videos as though the TV is being turned on
and off . Some of the students have drawn remote control wands next to
the TV sets [ or knobs on the TV set itself ]. They're putting coloured
buttons on the remote control wands [ or on the TV] - the idea being to
color-edit the various buttons so that as one button is clicked the
first first video appears 'in' the TV screen - then they want to be able
to click-on another button so that the first video turns off [ hides] -
or so that the TV channel' appears to change to another, different video
. We're having no success finding a way to get one video to run and then
turn off at a click and then have a second video start when another
button is clicked...and so on . As we import the different videos they
seem to stay in the order in which they are imported. I hope I'm
making clear what we want to achieve. I'd appreciate any help and
advice. Graham Williams Vic otoria Australia
