Greetings:

I have a question about the compatibility of the MicroWorlds WebPlayer,
Windows XP, and IE6.

I have just received a grant to develop some multimedia simulations on the
legislative process, and I was planning to use MicroWorlds Pro for my
platform - as I wanted an excuse to spend more time learning logo rather
than flash. My assumption was that this would work because 1) I have seen
some of the projects that can be created in MWP, and believe this will meet
my goals; and 2)there is a fix for the problem that exists with IE5.5 and IE6.0

However, after just going to the Microworlds website, and the project
gallery, I am unable to run any of the projects in IE6.0. Each time the
project starts to load IE6 just dies and I get a NOT RESPONDING error. I
also re-installed the plugin (even though I am pretty sure I had already
installed it last month). I was successful in Netscape 6.2, BUT given that
so much of the web world lives in IE, I cannot afford to develop the sim
knowing that a majority of my endusers might not be able to access it.

So I guess I'll just make this plea for help and suggestions. I want to
use MicroWorlds Pro for this project, I just need to know that it will work
on the web.

Oh... in terms of my machine. I am running an Athlon XP 1800+ processor,
1GB DDR-RAM, Windows XP Professional, 64MB ATI Radeon video card, internet
service is cable modem, on a 100MB Ethernet home network (yes, a screaming
machine). AND my implementation of Windows XP has been up since last
October. I have had ZERO problems. It never crashes, and is extremely stable.

I look forward to any suggestions and help!
